Why Did My Short-Term Training Load Drop?

Training Load is based entirely on your Resting Heart Rate (RHR) on the day of each workout and your workout heart rate data from Apple Health. Athlytic does not use today’s RHR to recalculate past workouts.

If your numbers look lower now, it means the RHR or HR data in Apple Health for those workout days is different than it was previously. This can happen if:

  • Apple Health re-synced or updated past HR data
  • Your RHR has improved (lower RHR → lower Training Load for the same workout)
  • There were changes in HR sampling during the workouts

Athlytic is just reflecting the HR data currently stored in Apple Health.
